Frequently Asked Questions

Our church Worship Services and Bible Study Groups (Sunday School) meet in person every Sunday. Our Worship Service starts at 10:00 AM and Bible Study Groups (Sunday school) meet at 9:00 AM (for about an hour). See questions below for information on each of these.

We worship with a blend of Contemporary music and Traditional Christian hymns along with a message from our pastor plus varying other elements that can change a little from week-to-week.  The service is held in our Sanctuary, and you are welcome to come as you are; most folks wear comfortable casual clothing.

Bible Study Groups are meeting at 9:00 AM.  Classes are grouped by age for children, youth, and young adult/college and by areas of emphasis for adults.  Our Bible Study Classes are fairly relaxed, and we love guests! One of our ministers or deacons will be happy to introduce you to a class if you’ll let us know you are new and would like to visit one.

You are welcome at New Hope Baptist no matter what you wear.  You’ll see folks in everything from shorts and a t-shirt to suits and dresses and we just love that they come to hear about our Jesus Christ our Savior.

New Hope Kids Worship (Kindergarten – 5th grade) is offered at our 10:00 AM Worship Service. Kids begin in the full Worship Service and then head to a time of worship designed for them after the children’s sermon.

Worship childcare is offered for both services for infant and preschool children.

As mentioned above, there are Bible Study Groups for all ages of children at 9:15 AM.

Our main parking lot is located on New Hope Road and will give you the most direct access to Bible Study and worship on Sunday mornings.  You are welcome to any space you find, though we do have a few guest spaces on the front row that you are welcome to use.

Map to our campus

Our campus might appear a bit confusing at first glance, but our greeters will be happy to help you get where you’d like to go once you arrive.  Generally, the best place to park is the parking lot off of New Hope Rd. and enter through the Narthex doors.

Yes! Our Worship Services and Bible Study are open to all people and you are welcome to come see what New Hope is all about without fear of judgement or pressure.  Jesus invites and desires all people into a relationship with Him and we strive as a church to be as welcoming as the Savior we serve.

Plan to arrive around 15 minutes ahead of the start time of the program you plan to attend, to allow time to park, make your way inside and find a seat.  If you are running late, no problem, we’ll be happy to help you find your way no matter what time you arrive.

You are welcome as you are and don’t need to bring anything.  If you have a Bible, you are encouraged to bring it, but we have Bibles and other materials at our church if you need them.

There’s no assigned seating at New Hope!  Please choose whatever seat you feel most comfortable with.

While here, please visit our Welcome Booth in the Narthex so we can meet you, answer any questions and give you a gift.  After your visit, please contact us and allow us to try to answer whatever questions you may have.  Everyone at New Hope is continually learning and growing and that means we have questions too!  Please don’t be afraid to let us know how we can help you wherever you are.

Absolutely!  Please feel free to contact us or browse the rest of our web page to learn more about what it means to be a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ.  A good place to start might be our page on What We Believe.
