Missions

For many years, New Hope Baptist Church has been a church with a heart for missions. Mission Education begins early in life and continues on throughout each generation. But more than this, Mission Engagement opportunities are provided for everyone.

Summer Mission Trips

New Hope offers week-long summer mission immersion experiences for grades 3 and up. Children, Youth & Adults are able to Go & Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus to those in need.

Women on Mission

Each month, our Women on Mission meets to pray for our missionaries and coordinates mission projects to help meet the needs of our mission partners.

Missionary Partners

Paula Settle, a member of New Hope, is the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's missionary serving Together For Hope in Eastern Kentucky. Mike and Ginger Greene, members of New Hope, are North Carolina Baptist Men's missionaries serving in southern Honduras. New Hope supports these and many other missionary partners through our annual Mission and Ministries Budget and by sending teams.

FORWake

For too long, the Church has been known for what it is against. At New Hope, we want to be known for what we are FOR: our community. God is for the people of Wake County (Romans 8:31).

Jesus encouraged his disciples to minister to people by meeting their physical needs which opened a pathway for all to find a relationship with God. Therefore, New Hope is committed to being FORWake. This means that New Hope encourages its members to use our gifts, abilities and resources to help people in Wake County. We have partnerships with several community organizations enhancing their ability to serve and further empowering our ability to meet the people where they are and point them to God.

Once a month the people of New Hope accomplish the goal of being FORWake by intentionally leaving the building and entering our local community to serve in God's name. The opportunities to show the love of God to Wake County are plentiful and varied. Thus far we have sorted local non-profits' donations for distribution, cleaned-up community parks, prepared freezer meals for people who are hungry, walked streets while praying for those who live there, sponsored neighborhood block parties, and visited people who are homebound or in assisted living facilities.

Recognizing God has called us all, New Hopers of all ages and capabilities are empowered to participate. The spiritual and physical impact God has produced from simply being the hands and feet of Jesus never ceases to amaze us. Thus, we are continually, actively and prayerfully searching out opportunities to be FORWake.
