Community Ministries

For too long, the church has been known for what it’s against. At New Hope, we want to be known for what we are for. We are for our community because God is for our community (Romans 8:31). New Hope is committed to being FORWake. This means using our gifts, abilities and resources to help people in Wake County connect with God where they are. We have partnerships with several local organizations which further enhance our ability to meet the needs in our community as we point people to God.

Once a month, we leave the building to serve in our local community. Opportunities to show the love of God are plentiful and the impact of these opportunities on our community never ceases to amaze us. Some examples of these opportunities have included sorting donations, park clean-up, preparing freezer meals, prayer walks, block parties, visiting assisted living and homebound members and many others. Recognizing God has called us all, we strive to be sure that there are mission opportunities for all ages and capabilities allowing and empowering all to be FORWake.
